Assistant Principal
Nicole McCullough
Power Ranch Elementary School
Hello Power Ranch Panthers! My name is Nicole McCullough and I am honored to serve Power Ranch Elementary School as the Assistant Principal. I am looking forward to building relationships with the students, staff, and families of this wonderful community.
I have worked within education for approximately 18 years. During my tenure, I have worn many hats: serving as a classroom teacher (teaching Language Arts, Reading, gifted and honors, Social Studies, English As a Second Language, and inclusion), reading specialist, literacy coach, Assistant Principal, and Dean of Students. Most recently, I was the Dean of Students at Sossaman Middle School.
On a personal note, I was born and raised in Southern California. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from Sonoma State University. After moving to Washington, I added additional areas to my teaching license, earned a M.A. in Reading and Literacy, and a Principal’s Certification. I worked hard to earn National Board Certified Teacher status in 2010 and renewed my certification in 2020. Additionally, I am a proud mother of three boys and one attends our very own Sossaman preschool.
I look forward to working with our Power Ranch families to support our students, not only academically but also behaviorally and emotionally. Together we can guide and support our students through their academic journey and prepare them for middle school and beyond.
