About Power Ranch Elementary

Power Ranch Elementary is a neighborhood K-6 school that takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming, and safe learning environment where all children are accepted. 
 
Power Ranch’s academic strength lies in our balance and integrated curricular program. Children master and apply literacy and mathematic skills through learning that emphasizes research, problem solving, simulations and technology. The instructional program does not end with the acquisition of discrete skills, but goes on to teach the use of those skills in higher-level problem solving.

Public Works Project Begins Dec. 15 | May Cause Delays

The Town of Gilbert will start rehabilitating water pipes along Higley Road between Guadalupe and Ray roads on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025. Expect lane reductions, turn restrictions, and varying traffic impacts through Spring 2026. Some households may notice temporary tap water discoloration during valve closures, but water will remain safe to use. Winter Break: December 22, 2025 - January 5, 2026

With Winter Break approaching, we would like to express our appreciation to all of our students and families for your continued support throughout this semester.

As a reminder,

  • Elementary, Middle, and High Schools will be closed 30 minutes after their dismissal times on December 19th through January 2nd. School offices will reopen on January 5th and school will resume on Tuesday, January 6th.
  • Preschools will close at 12:00 PM on December 19th through January 2nd. Office hours for January 5th will be 7:00-9:00 AM and 1:00-3:00 PM. The office will be closed from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Normal office hours and school will resume on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
  • The District Office will close at 2:00 PM on December 19th through January 2nd, and will reopen on Monday, January 5th.

We wish all of our students, families, and staff a safe and joyful holiday season! We look forward to seeing our students back in the classroom on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

Every In-Person Higley Unified School Earned State’s ‘A’ Rating
